As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play a pivotal role in our medical team, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals and directly contribute to diagnosing and treating patients. Utilizing cutting-edge equipment, you will perform radiological procedures with finesse, ensuring precise doses of radiation and energy, to capture diagnostic images for patients across all age groups.
Whether you're several years into your career or just starting it, if you haven't delved into other radiologic modalities beyond X-ray, you will have the opportunity to cross-train in:

Essential Functions & Performance Criteria:

  1. Images patients according to established policies and procedures in a timely manner, as ordered by the referring physician
  2. Displays ability to appropriately meet age specific needs for age groups neonate through geriatric in order to demonstrate requested anatomy
  3. Abides by all state and federal regulations regarding radiation safety
  4. Demonstrates ability to respond professionally to crisis situations and stay calm
  5. Performs clerical duties necessary to maintain accurate and complete patient records
  6. Completes exam related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  7. Maintains patient records in all EMR systems and relays errors or QA issues to a qualified technologist as soon as possible
  8. Immediately informs director of critical issues
  9. Reviews orders prior to every exam to ensure appropriate order protocol based on patient age, condition and prior imaging history
  10. Maintains competency and routinely performs exams in all licensed modalities (xray, fluoro, ct, ortho and surgery)
  11. Completes order review and reminder calls daily
  12. Manages assigned areas of the Quality Control Program
  13. Reports equipment malfunctions
  14. Takes appropriate measures to ensure patient and staff safety at all times
  15. Educates patient and answers any questions
  16. Screens for pregnancy before all exams and provides appropriate radiation protection as needed
  17. Volunteers to cover open night/weekend shifts and backup call
  18. Consistently promotes the organization's values to employees, co-workers, patients, families, and others through adherence to identified Customer Service Excellence Standards
  19. Is knowledgeable of and complies with organizational and departmental policies and procedures
  20. Demonstrates effective time management skills and work habits - Regular, reliable attendance is required


Employment Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program in an approved facility
  • Radiography: ARRT (R)
  • Nebraska state license

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
